I kind of feel like a lemming. Here I am ready to jump off the cliff into the world of blogging like everyone else...but then I suppose that lemming have a need for self-expression too.

Let me begin (the second paragraph) of this innagural post by telling little bit about myself. I am a California girl who lives in Amsterdam. I've lived here for a few years with my Dutch husband and spend my time working (when I have a job) and going out with the girls. I am OBSESSED with Pride and Prejudice, Lizzy and Darcy in particular and addicted to chocolate. I also love to garden (I'm such a grandma!)

Right now I want a dog. But somehow I ended up with a cat (even though i'm allergic)

And my best friend from high school just published her first book and its a doozy.
