I've decided to start a new project called 'Dinner' in which I am going to take a photo every night of my dinner and post it here. Why? you may be thinking...and I will answer it. There are 2 reasons. The first is to get an honest look at what I am cooking for my family. I do almost all the cooking and I think I do a good job in making a wide variety of mostly healthy dinners. Seeing it all together photographically might challenge that notion (or confirm it :). It will also push me to think more about what I am cooking- expanding my horizons, so to speak. The second reason is the photographic one. Taking a photo every day of my dinner will hopefully challenge me to be more interesting with composition and to think more about styling. I am too much of an 'As is' photographer.
I meant to start this last night, and with that in mind, took some (what I think were) lovely photos of the Skinny chicken and sour cream enchiladas I made for dinner last night. When I went to load the photos onto my computer, I found that I had taken the photos without the card. DUH! Rookie mistake. I have a lot to learn. Let's hope this is the beginning!
